What we believe about ourselves influences our behavior. This 8-week course (2 hours per session for 8 sessions) focuses on developing an understanding of the “lies” we believe about ourselves, such as “I am not good enough,” or “I am not smart enough,” or “I have no patience” and how to replace these lies with truth. In addition, once a participant is released from the beliefs associated with the past, the sessions focus on rebuilding a new life based on self-worth as well as how to maintain these gains.
Making Sense
of Your
Worth
Groups of 5-12 people form based on need via the interest form above.
Location and meeting times vary and can take place across Highlands County.
Our lives and behaviors are shaped by our experiences. But did you know, our experiences also affect our biology? During this training, we'll explore how adverse childhood experiences change our brains and bodies. Incredibly, our brains are malleable and we can create new neural pathways. Where there is breath there is hope and change IS possible. We'll also learn more about Trust-Based Relational Intervention® a critical tool in serving children and parents from hard places.

Intervention
"I found a great deal of freedom in facing and dispelling the lies I had been unconsciously accepting as truth about myself. The changes I am making are making change for my children and future generations."

Grands
Raising
Greats
For many grandparents, weekend stays, afternoon visits, and phone calls make up the majority of interaction with their grandchildren. However, a growing group of grandparents are stepping into full-time caregiving roles for their grandchildren. Grands Raising Greats is a community group for relative and non-relative caregivers who are raising children the second time around. This fellowship time is for support, conversation, and community. Free lunch is provided.
